Information LunchLight Collects

If you create a parent account, LunchLight stores your email address and account identifier so you can sign in and sync saved products across devices.

If you choose to save a kid profile, LunchLight stores a nickname, age range, allergies, food preferences, and school rules. LunchLight does not ask for a child's full legal name, photo, school name, exact birthday, or medical documents.

When signed in, LunchLight may store favorites, lunchbox planner selections, and scan history so those features work across devices.

Camera And Barcode Scanning

LunchLight requests camera access only when you tap Start camera scan. Barcode scanning happens on your device. LunchLight does not upload camera images or video for barcode scanning.

Product Data

LunchLight may send barcode numbers or product search terms to Open Food Facts to retrieve product information. Product data can be incomplete, so families should always verify package labels, especially for allergens.

How Information Is Used

LunchLight uses information to provide account sync, favorites, lunchbox planning, nutrition signal displays, and product lookup features.

LunchLight does not sell personal information and does not use advertising SDKs.

Data Storage And Security

Account data is stored with Supabase. Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections when the app is used on the production domain.

If you use LunchLight without signing in, favorites, planner selections, and profile details may be saved locally on your device.

Deleting Your Account Or Data

You can request account and associated data deletion at https://lunchlight.app/account-deletion or by emailing arcaneuron@gmail.com.

Deletion requests cover parent account data, kid profile details, favorites, lunchbox planner data, and scan history, unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
